The Bakken Museum - Spark
As part of a multi-year strategic plan, the Bakken Museum, located in Minneapolis, hired Roto to design and fabricate an exhibition that serves as the centerpiece of their new expansion and renovation while establishing a higher degree of interactivity within the museum. As part of the project, Roto also created a dynamic icon that hangs in the museum’s new entry tower. A swirling sphere of dichroic lenses casts colored light throughout the surrounding landscape.
