Livelihood Opportunities for Marginalized Women and Adolescent Girls
SAATH initiated a residential Tailoring Training program for the adolescent girls of Sindhupalchowk post-2015 earthquake. The training was made wholesome through facilitation on issues related to women, the economy and their livelihood. Since 2019, we have been working with women and adolescent girls of Musahar community in Dhanusha district of Nepal through Tailoring and Mithila Art training. This project intends to reach out to more vulnerable communities and provide them with vocational training for livelihood and income generation. A large part of the project facilitates the trainees on business management, life skills, SRHR and literacy.
