Sao Paulo Design Weekend
Conceived by Lauro Andrade, director of SUMMIT-PROMO, curated by journalists Simões Neto and Regina Galvão, every year the DW! São Paulo Design Weekend celebrates important moments for the market and, in 2017, reaffirms its position as the largest urban design festival in Latin America. During the design week, over 300 events take place with the participation of designers, shopkeepers, industries, universities, design malls, architects, interior designers, event promoters, citizens and consumers
Design Statement
"With the function of integrating the creative world into the productive world, DW! has established itself as one of the biggest design weeks in the world. Last year, there were about 300 events that took place in more than 180 points in the city of São Paulo in order to foster business and aim at the growth of the sector. For 2017, our expectation is that this performance will be repeated quantitatively and will continue to improve qualitatively", celebrates Lauro Andrade Filho.
