WU JI
Wu Ji is a decorative phone holder with four phone slots that allows phones to be vertically in four directions. Each slot is big enough to accommodate different models at an appropriate height. phones are only partially covered, enabling the user to see notifications. All the phones will be kept higher than the plates so users no longer need to worry about moving their phones out of the way when being served. By gathering phones at the center of dining, accessing one’s cell phone is more of a group action. Through keeping the source of notifications ambiguous, the process becomes more fun and generates less negative feelings.
