Design Statement
The designer, Dawei Chen, pays close attention to the multiple uses of the space and furniture. For example, on a 14-square-meter tatami in the living room, Dad and Mom could watch TV, read books, play games with children, have tea and enjoy the view from the window. What seems to be a living room by day, can be turned into a cozy bedroom in the evening. The bathroom compartment also has a door that can be opened to add more space to the room.
