COCOONx & COCOONs
Influenced by futuristic house designs, the bionically inspired COCOONx offers a living space that attempts to capture visitors imagination for sounds, arts, residents, cities, and environments. Sounds were recorded across Tainan and re-edited to create unique soundscapes of Tainan that construct and restore memories of the Five Ports and Haian Road. COCOONs are installed on lamp posts standing along Haian Road, playing different soundscapes for Tainan at different times. COCOONs emits breathing lights in the night.
