Lamps for Ingo Maurer
For Ingo Maurer we developed two lamps as a small series – the lamp „Horny Philippe“ was presented at the international furnishing show Cologne on the occasion of the 50th birthday of Philippe Starck in the tunnel under the Deutzer bridge. It consists of Aluminium bodies that are constructed with the lost wax technique and then surface coated in a galvanizing treatment. The lamp with the rollable material consisting of two synthetic materials glued to one another can be transformed from a table lamp to a standard reading lamp – the current carrying works by the braided copper strands that are glued to the synthetic material.
