Introducing a platform to discuss manufacturing in consideration of theenvironment and humankind. The creative material samples series KONOHA communicate the coloring method achieved by applying polarized pearls and lame to durable transparent polycarbonate. This method enables discontinuation of the painting process across numerous manufacturing sites, reduces CO2 and VOC emissions, and allows for recycling opportunities. They are designed to convey the benefits of such concepts. We hope to demonstrate that material development will become an important pillar of design in the future via this activity.
