The private owners are both experts about the sites history and also offer guided tours through the estate. Besides their private project Tautes Heim, they are both self-employed: Katrin works as landscape architect, Ben runs a small studio for graphic and interface design. For their work they received several awards.

Suitable for up to four guests, "Tautes Heim" (Taut’s Home) is a place for design lovers and a real-life experience of design history. If you appreciate the fine architecture and interior design of the "Golden Twenties", you are in the right place. The house was restored true to the original, serves as rentable museum accommodation and was frequently awarded and published. Designed in 1930 by famous Bruno Taut it is part of the Hufeisensiedlung– Berlins most recent UNESCO World heritage.
