iF 2021 Design Award - WINNER - Product and Professional Concept Discipline
Working closely with both the radiation experts at Mirion and a variety of emergency personnel around the country, we developed device concepts and created numerous prototypes to determine an ideal physical form (including screen size, button size, and configuration) and nearly zero-training required a digital interface. The Design Language System (DLS) provides Mirion Technologies with a systematic way of expressing the purpose and promise of the brand in two- and three-dimensions. The Mirion DLS helped Mirion scale design, reduce design debt, and build brand equity through consistent interactions, and a harmonized appearance.
