The chemical reaction of next generation technology and design will inherit Japanese lacquer culture. TUGI TUGI is a new lacquer ware brand that you can use in modern food life. The next generation material Sustimo ® is the name of molding material for lacquer ware, which was developed by the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Technology Research Institute. It was made from 100% natural material (wood flour 50%: lacquer sap 50%). TUGI TUGI was designed by a textile brand “Sarahbel” and decorated by traditional craftsmen of Aizu Wakamatsu.
