Venice Design Week

Venice Design Week was founded in 2010 with the goal of enriching the relationship between design, arts and crafts. For many centuries, Venice has been recognized as an important port where goods and ideas were exchanged with the east. Merchandise of all kinds arrived in Venice to be transported across Europe. Many machines (and some bizarre ideas) were patented and made in Venice.
