Project: Today I see
Virtual i Technologies, with Eyes For Africa delivers life-changing no-charge cataract surgery to men, women and children in poverty in rural,remote Ethiopia who would otherwise have no chance of regaining their sight. The project ensures that each day, one more person starts to see throughout the year. Even though it is a simple operation to recover from cataract in developed countries, in Africa, mostly in remote places, some children are born with cataract and away from treatment opportunities, live without seeing the world in its real colors, namely, blind. An operation for one impacts the whole society, creating a new future for all.
