WANAWAKE WAVUVI (WA-WA KENYA)

WA-WA Women Academy empowers marginalized women within Lake Victoria region. These are women who have been experiencing 'sex for fish' exploitation. We have them trained in various areas of their interest such as; furniture making using water hyacinth and papyrus reeds, soap and detergent making, fashion and design, fishing, fish farming among others.
