Akira Koyama

Akira Koyama is Founder and the Owner of KEY OPERATION / ARCHITECTS (KOP), providing innovative architectural design. Akira studied architecture at the Tokyo Metropolitan University and also completed the MArch at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL and MSc at Tokyo Institute of Technology. He worked in UK at various architectural practices including David Chipperfield Architects. After setting up KOP in 2005, Akira has designed innovative commercial buildings, residential buildings and won numerous awards such as Good Design Award, A+ Awards, Blueprint Awards, German Design Awards and RIBA International Awards.
