Dr. Albrecht Bangert

Albrecht Bangert; Art historian and publisher Study of art history in Munich, culminating in a doctorate. Worked for international publishing houses as an author and publisher specializing in 20th century applied art. He subsequently established the “Bangert Verlag”, a publishing house which specializes in design-related books. The Bangert Verlag publishes the German editions of the International Design Annual, anthologies on international interior design, the avant-garde magazine “Terrazzo”, as well as various monographs, e. g. on Ettore Sottsass, Gaetano Pesce, Carlo Mollino, Andre Putman, etc. Dr. Bangert also advises international companies on design issues and is involved in the organization of design exibitions, e. g. “Europäisches Möbeldesign” in Cologne in 1990, and “ambiente electronica” in Berlin and Milan in 1991.
