Alexandra Nagy

Alexandra Nagy studied at the department of Industrial Design, Acadamy of Applied Arts in Budapest. After her degree she worked as a freelance designer of medical instruments and in the machinery industry. In 1972 she left for a graphic and landscape design company in Ireland. In 1974 she worked as a freelance designer again and also in collaboration with the Gedeon Richter Pharmaceutical Company in the position of cosmetic packaging designer. 1991 she established the Paqart Design Studio, a design studio specialized in packaging design, product design and artwork services. Alexandra Nagy is lecturer at the Hungarian Academy of Applied Art (MOME) and at the VISART Academy of Arts, Budapest/Ecole d’Art Maryse Eloy, Paris as well. She is managing director of her company and lives in Budapest.
