Amy Y.M. Chow graduated from Academy of Art College in San Francisco with a Bachelor degree (BFA) and a Master’s degree (MFA) in Graphic Design. She has worked for many international design firms as Typographer, Graphic Designer and Creative Director. Apart from teaching in Hong Kong and regional academic institutions, Amy was the coordinator of many part-time and accredited programmes at HKU SPACE, The Art School Hong Kong Arts Centre and PolyU SPEED. In 2005, Amy joined the Hong Kong Design Centre as the Project Director overseeing HKDC Awards, professional training workshops and exhibition programme, including Very HK (2007), Creative HK (2008), Hong Kong: Creative Ecologies (2010), Ink and Design Exhibition (2010) and DeSein: German Graphic Design from Post war to Present (2011).
