Prof. Astrid Beck
GUI DesignStuttgart, GermanyAstrid Beck is a professor for human-machine interfaces at the Hochschule Esslingen as well as the managing director of GUI Design Stuttgart. She is also the spokesperson for the Human-Computer Interaction department of the Gesellschaft für Informatik (GI). Her areas of expertise comprise user interface designs, usability and designing web projects as well as methods and approaches for developing software, such as requirements analysis and testing. Her customers include banks (LBBW, Dresdner Bank, Deutsche Bank, ING DiBa) and major corporations (Daimler AG, Carl Zeiss, Deutsche Post AG).
