Bongkyu Song

BKIDSeoul, Republic of Korea

Bongkyu Song is the Founder and Design Director of BKID, a Seoul-based industrial design studio. He has collaborated with global brands such as Alessi, BMW, Audi, Samsung, LG, Dell, and Disney, leading projects across home appliances, IT, medical, and digital design. Recognized for his influence in contemporary design, he was named Top 10 Korean Designer by JoongAng Daily (2012), Designer of the Year by Design House (2012, 2016, 2024), and Young Leader of Korea by Forbes Korea (2013). In 2015, he was honored as Young Artist of the Year by the Korean Ministry of Culture. Through BKID, he continues to explore design’s role in connecting industry, technology, and human experience.
