Carl Gustav Magnusson

Carl Gustav Magnusson (born 1940 in Sweden) immigrated to Canada in 1947. He studied engineering, architecture and design at the University of Idaho and at the Chalmers Institute of Technology in Gothenburg. Since 1972 he worked for Knoll USA as head of graphics and exhibits between 1972 and 1976, for Knoll Europe as head of design for all facilities and exhibits between 1976 and 1989 and he was director for design world-wide from 1989 to 1993. In 2005 he founded design consulting firm Carl Gustav Magnusson Design.
