Cecilie Manz

Cecilie Manz lives and works in Copenhagen, where she set up her own studio in 1998. She is a graduate of the Danish University of Design and the University of Art and Design Helsinki. Her works, primarily furniture, lighting and glass objects, can be found in the MoMA New York and in the Vitra Design Museum, among others. In addition, experimental prototypes and individual sculptures play an important part in her work methods, which, for Cecilie, make up fragments of an ongoing story. The native of Denmark has been the recipient of many design awards, including the Crown Prince Couple`s Cultural Award 2014.
