Prof. Chiaki Murata

Chiaki Murata graduated from the Osaka City University at the Applied Physics Department in 1982. From 1982 to 1986 he joined the Design Center of Sanyo Electric, Co., Ltd. In 1986 Murata established Hers Experimental Design Laboratory, Inc., where he created various designs in the field of product design, graphic design, corporate identity and interface design. Since 1988 Chiaki Murata has lectured at several universities and is member of many design associations, as the Japan Industrial Designer’s Association, the Kansai Office Design Union and many more. Besides Chiaki Murata various many design awards.
