Smart Design United StatesDan Formosa is a consultant in design and co-founder of Smart Design, USA. He has developed products and services in a wide range of categories. He holds a Master’s and a Ph.D. in Ergonomics and Biomechanics. His work has received numerous design awards and has been selected for national and international exhibits. Formosa was a member of the design team that developed IBM’s first personal computer. In 1980, he helped establish Smart Design to explore ways in which design can positively impact people’s lives. He frequently lectures on the changing role of design, the physical and psychological aspects of design, gender and social responsibility.
