Daniel Rothaug

Since 2013 Daniel Rothaug has been professor of interface design at the design faculty of the University of Augsburg. He founded the ‘Zum Kuckuck’ design studio, where, until 2015, he was also creative director. The studio’s clients include Apple, Audi Daimler, Deutsche Telekom, Drykorn, SAP, Städel Museum, Volkswagen and Walter Knoll. Zum Kuckuck is one of the most renowned digital media design studios in Germany. Daniel Rothaug graduated in communication design and interactive media design from the design faculty of the Würzburg-Schweinfurt University of Applied Sciences. His work has been recognized with more than 100 national and international awards.
