David M. Gresham is an independent design consultant based in New York. He started his career as Senior Associate Designer at IBM in 1979, where he worked on corporate design strategy. He was also the corporate manager of industrial design for ITT Corporation in New York and principal and co-founder of Design Logic, a Chicago-based product development/advanced research firm. Further positions in his career include Vice President of Design for Steelcase, co-founder and Head of Marketing and Design for Lucesco Lighting, and Vice President at Wet Design, where he led all design aspects of the company, from project work to graphics to facilities. Throughout his career, David has been recognized by numerous design organizations for extending the boundaries of traditional product design. He has lectured extensively on design topics in the U.S., Europe and Asia.
