Prof. Dingbang Luh

Ding-Bang Luh is Chair at Guangdong University of Technology in Guangzhou, China, and Associate Professor at the Faculty of Industrial Design and the Institute of Creative Industries Design (ICSID) at National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan. Luh founded the first postgraduate program in cultural and creative industries in Taiwan in 2006 and served as director of ID from 2007 to 2010 and chairman of ICID (2007-2009). This was followed by his election as president of the Chinese Institute of Design in 2015 and his appointment as an expert for the "National 1000 Talents Plan" by the Chinese Ministry of Culture in 2017. Luh became dean of the College of Creative Design at Asia University and chairman of the International Service Innovation Design Association. His research interests include industrial design, service innovation, design management, creative and cultural industry studies, and strategic thinking.
