Don-tae Lee

Following a distinguished and impactful career at Samsung’s Corporate Design Center, Don-tae Lee now serves as the CEO and President of the Design Strategy Center at Lotte Corporation. In his capacity as the head of the Design Strategy Center, he plays a pivotal role in guiding and supporting the design endeavors across various business sectors within the Lotte Group. With 27 years of extensive experience in the design industry, he has emerged as an inspiring leader, dedicated to advancing human-centered innovation that enhances the lives of consumers. His diverse portfolio includes projects spanning from small consumer goods to large-scale industrial products and architectural designs. Prior to his tenure at Samsung, he co-led Tangerine as Co-President, further strengthening his expertise in global design leadership. In recognition of his significant contributions to the field, he was honored with an Honorary Fellowship by the Royal College of Art in 2016. His unwavering passion lies in fostering a sense of seamless integration and cohesiveness across all facets of design, continually driving innovation and excellence within the industry.
