Duy Phong Vu

De’Longhi Braun Household GmbH Germany

Duy Phong Vu is Group Director, Global Design & IoT Ecosystem and responsible for the design teams of the De'Longhi Group and its brands Braun, De'Longhi and Kenwood. Duy Phong joined the Braun design team in 1997 after studying industrial design at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences and training as a model maker in the automotive industry. He progressed through various career stages within the company, including Group Design Manager at Gillette/Procter & Gamble Braun GmbH. In 2007, Duy Phong became Interim Head of Design and, after the acquisition of De'Longhi, founded his own Braun design team for household appliances in Neu-Isenburg. Since 2016, he has been Part Time Professor at Donghua University in Shanghai and since 2018 Visiting Professor at Politecnico di Milan. Under his leadership, his international design teams have received several hundred design awards worldwide.
