She heads the secretariat of the Cumulus Association, the leading global association of art and design education and research. Passionate about an interdisciplinary environment, she loves breaking down barriers between business, industry, government and NGOs for education and research. Eija is committed to education and research-based innovations that can improve the quality of life on our planet. To do so, she is committed to empowering the next generation of young people to play an important role by encouraging their alma mater and themselves to see the needs of the earth as a top priority, creating the right balance between people, planet and profit. Eija is an active speaker at various events and serves on the boards of various institutions in the creative sector as well. She has a degree in business and an MA in Art History, German Philology, and 6 other languages.
