Elif Kocabiyik

Elif Kocabıyık, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Industrial Design at İzmir University of Economics. Her research focuses on design history, archival studies, design research methodology, and social design. She has led various initiatives that strengthen İzmir’s design culture and capacity. She is a member of the Academy Board of the Mediterranean Academy - a democratic platform of the Municipality of İzmir - and serves as the Community Liaison for the World Design Organization.
