Elif Kocabiyik

Izmir University of EconomicsIzmir, Türkiye

Elif Kocabıyık holds a PhD and serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial Design at İzmir University of Economics. Her research interests include design history, archival studies, design research methodology, and social design. She has undertaken various roles and organized events to strengthen İzmir’s design culture and capacity. She is a member of the Academy Board of the Mediterranean Academy - a democratic platform of the Municipality of İzmir - and serves as the Community Liaison for the World Design Organization.
