Erdem Akan

Erdem Akan is an industrial designer, curator and design director who has nearly 30 years' experience working internationally in design and design management for brands such as VitrA Bathrooms and the Ford Motor Company. In addition to his role as Head of Design at Kingfisher, Erdem curates exhibitions that explore design, culture and identity, and directs his Istanbul-based studio, 021WORKS. He combines industrial precision with cultural storytelling and has taught design at various universities for over a decade.
