Prof. Erik Spiekermann

Erik Spiekermann is a specialist author, typographical designer and font inventor. In 1979 he founded MetaDesign and in 1988 he established FontShop. He is Honorary Professor at the Bremen Academy of Arts, a member of the Presiding Council of the German Design Council, and President of the International Institute for Information Design and the International Society for Typographic Designers. Since 2000 he has freelanced for his United Label.
