Frank Nuovo, chief designer at Nokia Design, is responsible for the advancement of design at Nokia. Nuovo first began working for Nokia some ten years ago; his first designs were for analog pocket phones such as the Nokia 101 and 121, followed by the Nokia 6080, a digital GSM cellphone. As of this time, he has been chief designer for the development of Nokia mobile phones. Having devoted much time to art and music performances, Frank Nuovo studied at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. At present, he is on the Business Board of the Finnish National Museum of Modern Art  and a member of the Industrial Designers Association in the United States. Nuovo has also worked as a design critic in Europe, the US and Asia.
