Fred Held

Fred Held is the Founder and Owner of Held+Team, an industrial design agency specializing in medical technology based in Hamburg. Customers include leading medical technology companies from Europe, the United States, China and Japan. In 2011, Fred founded the Held+Team partnership with Thomas Märzke. Today, the agency employs a team of 15. He studied Industrial Design at the Muthesius Art Academy in Kiel and worked on a freelance basis for Windi Winderlich Design before starting his own company in 1997.
