Fritz Frenkler

f/p design GmbHBerlin, Germany

Fritz Frenkler founded the f/p design office, which has studios in Berlin, Munich, and Kyoto (Japan). He is on the board of trustees of the Rams Foundation and is a member of the Academy of Arts (ADK) in Berlin. Previously, he was a senator and head of the architecture section at the ADK. He also held the chair of industrial design at the Technical University of Munich, where he is now professor emeritus of excellence. Before that, he was president of frogdesign Asia in Tokyo, managing director of Wiege Wilkhahn Entwicklungsgesellschaft, and head of design at DB AG. Since 1995, he has been a member of iF Design and later of the iF Design Foundation.
