Prof. Dr. Gerhard Buurman

Gerhard M. Buurman (* 1961 in Hamburg) studied Industrial Design at the University of Essen, writing his doctoral thesis on "Online Technlogies in Atuomotive Design". He has been a lecturer at the Zurich School of Art and Design (hgkz) since 1999 and in 2001 took on responsibility for setting up and developing courses in Interaction Design and Game Design. Since 2006 his work for the hgkz has also involved setting up a national research center for Interaction Design in the financial services and banking sector. He is partner of PLASMADESIGN ZÜRICH.
