Giulia Detomati

In 2014 Giulia Detomati founded InVento Innovation Lab, an Italian award-winning B Corp. InVento Lab is one of the "Best for the World B Corps" which helps companies and institutions in their regenerative transitions. As CEO, Giulia is responsible for project development with multinational companies and education projects. In particular, her expertise focuses on management, B Corp certification, master planning, regenerative corporate design, SDGs, climate change, sustainability strategies and circular economy.

During the Ashoka Changemaker Summit 2021, Giulia was officially nominated Ashoka Fellow, a network of social entrepreneurs who aspire to bring change at a systemic and paradigm level, for the commitment shown in InVento Lab’s educational projects. She is co-founder of B Women Italy, the network of women entrepreneurs who are concretely committed to the promotion of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of Gender Equality and Climate Change. Giulia is a member of the executive board of Assobenefit, the first representative association of Benefit Companies in Italy.

Giulia is an environmental engineer and TedX speaker, enhanced her training in the United States thanks to the "Mind the Bridge" program in San Francisco and the "Social Entrepreneurship" program at Stanford University. She has also been a mentor of The Start Up School and a mentor of the MIT LAUNCH program in Boston. She has moreover worked on environmental educational projects overseas for the US government's National Park Service at Acadia National.
