Guanzhong Liu

Guanzhong Liu is professor and PhD mentor at the Tsinghua University’s Academy of Design & Arts. He is also president of the Design Strategy and Prototype Innovation Institute at the university’s Research Center of Arts & Science. As part-time professor, he also serves as doctoral tutor at the Nanjing Arts Institute. He is honorary president of the Design Arts and Media College of the Nanjing University of Science and Technology and of the Guangdong Industrial Design Training Institute. Furthermore, he is director and honorary vice president of the Expert Committee of China Industrial Design. He has received many awards for his achievements in education, among others from the Ministry of Education. He has published many scientific books including ‘Methodology of Design’ and ‘Outline of Matterology’.
