Hyoeun Kim

Hyoeun Kim is a Curatorial Associate in the Architecture and Design Department at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA), contributing through exhibitions, publications, and public programs. In 2023, she led the curation, research, and editing efforts for the Korean pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale. Her career began at OMA, where she worked as both an architect and curator, and she later collaborated with the Seoul Biennale of Urbanism & Architecture as an associate curator, eventually becoming the chief curator at the Seoul Hall of Architecture & Urbanism. She co-curated the exhibition 'Our Happy Life' with the Canadian Centre for Architecture (CCA). Among her notable publications is 'Curating Architecture (Taijai, 2023).' She earned her MArch from the University of Pennsylvania and completed her doctoral studies at Seoul National University.
