Isao Hosoe

Isao Hosoe (*1942 in Tokyo, † 3. October 2015 in Milano, Italy) was born in Tokyo in 1942. He studied aerospace engineering at the Nihon University in Tokyo, 1965 Bachelor of Science, 1967 Master of Science. He is currently a professor of design at the Domus Academy in Milan, the Politecnico Milano, the I.S.I.A. in Florence, and the University of Siena. He is co-author of “Playoffice” (Tokio 1991), and has participated in numerous solo and collective exhibitions like “Work Encounter: Domesticity in the office” held at Triennale Milan. Some of his works have been selected for permanent Victoria and Albert Museum London, Centre Georges Pompidou Paris and Chicago Atheneum.
