Jaehwan Lee

Jaehwan Lee is professor of product design at the Hanyang University (since 1995) and he heads many design-related and multidisciplinary programs and projects, both as part of his academic work and independently. He earned his BA and MA degrees in industrial design at the Pratt Institute, and he also holds a PhD in industrial engineering from the Myungji University. Before starting his academic career, he was a senior designer at Samsung Electronics. From 1991 to 1997 he ran his own business, ID Zone, based in Seoul. His aim is to always find innovative, highly practical and feasible design solutions that also take into account the human aspect.
