Jairo da Costa

Jairo da Costa is an award-winning Brazilian product designer and Assistant Professor in the Industrial Design Engineering program at the University of Twente and co-founder of the Bio-Based Materials Design Lab at the University of Western Australia. With over fifteen years of experience in design for sustainability and development, Jairo has worked in multidisciplinary environments, applying research within the industry, teaching and fostering multicultural dialogue in Latin America, Africa, Asia, Australia and Europe.
