Jianye Li

Jianye Li is the chief designer of Alibaba Cloud BG, which is the top cloud computing and AI technology company from China, and he is the designer of Beijing 2022 Olympic torch. Before joining Alibaba, he was vice president of industrial design at Smartisan Technology, senior design consultant at Philips Design. He is also a visiting lecturer at Tsinghua University. His work has received many awards. He also designs personal items like, for example, the ‘love u 500 years’ ring that translates aspects of Chinese culture into a modern design language.
