Jieh-Cheng Kuo

Chinese Industrial Designers AssociationTaipei, Taiwan

Jie-Cheng Kuo is currently the Chairman of Chinese Industrial Designers Association and Taiwan Design Alliance, which is the result of high recognition from all designers and students who voted him into the position. He was the founder and Head of the Industrial Design dept. of Da-Yeh University. Later on he built the first design school in Taiwan. In 1989 Jie-Cheng gained his diploma at Hochschule für Bildende Künste Hamburg. While working for the department of product design at Braun AG with Prof. Dieter Rams, he received several outstanding awards.
