Jo Beckendorff
Pooltown communicationsMünchen, GermanyJo Beckendorff (born in 1959) trained as a salesman before going on to study journalism in Dortmund. From 1988 to 1992 he was a ski trainer in Japan, where he was able to make contact with sports and cycling companies from other parts of Asia at Japanese trade fairs. In 1993 he was a journalist at the sports retailing trade magazine SAZsport, and beginning in 1994 he was responsible for building up the writing team for the cycling retailing trade magazine SAZbike. Since 1996 Beckendorff has been self-employed, focusing on reporting for domestic and international cycling and sports retailing and industrial magazines.
