Jost Krippendorf (* 20. Dezember 1938 in Bern; † 27. Februar 2003 in Muri bei Bern).
InhaltsverzeichnisAttended school and university in Bern, where he studied economics. 1963:Awarded doctorate. 1972:Appointed extraordinary professor at the University of Bern. 1971-88: Director of the Institute of Leisure and Tourism at the University of Bern, and concurrently holder of the chair in the Theory and Politics of Tourism at the University of Bern. Also director of the Swiss Tourism Association in Bern from 1971 to 1978.
1989-91 (until end of September 1991): Professor and head of the Liaison Office for General Ecology at the University of Bern. October 1991: Set up his own research agency to conduct freelance research into issues in ecology, leisure and tourism.
