Karsten Bleymehl

Material ConneXionKöln, Germany

Karsten Bleymehl ( born in 1975) studied industrial design at the Saar College of Fine Arts after completing his apprenticeship (machine and system technology) and receiving his diploma in engineering. He gained valuable international work experience while working in Italy with Alessandro Mendini (Atelier Mendini, Milan) and subsequently worked as a freelance designer and consultant. Since Material ConneXion Cologne opened in January 2005, Mr. Bleymehl has been in charge of the Library & Materials department. He and his team carry out customer-specific material and process research for development and design departments of B2B customers from business and industry.
