Keiji Ashizawa

Keiji Ashizawa graduated from Yokohama National University. In 2005 he set up his own design studio, Keiji Ashizawa Design. By way of helping local communities to rebuild following the major earthquake disaster in Eastern Japan in 2011, he set up Ishinomaki Laboratory, a DIY studio that operates as a furniture brand. Keiji cooperates with brands such as Karimoku, Muji and Ikea in the field of product design, and with Panasonic in the field of product development and architecture products. He is currently working on the Tokyu Hotel project in Shinjuku.
