Kimitaka Kato

Kimitaka Kato is excutive director and CDO, Japan Institute of Design Promotion (JDP) and also served as an external advisor of Management Countil at Kyushu University. Prior to this – and after graduating from Kyushu University of Arts and Technology – Kimitaka joined FUJITSU LIMITED as Senior Vice President of Marketing Strategy, Strategy Planning Division (Design Strategy) and as President of FUJITSU DESIGN LIMITED. He has accumulated more than 40 years of expertise and knowledge in design and design management.
